(UPI) -- Prison sentences have been handed to two more suspects involved in the Fast and Furious gun-walking case, U.S. prosecutors in California said.
Sean Christopher Steward was sentenced to 108 months in federal prison and Jacob Anthony Montelongo drew a sentence of 41 months, KNXV-TV, Phoenix, reported Tuesday.
The U.S. attorney's office said both men pleaded guilty.
"Steward and Montelongo were two of the most prolific straw purchasers in the Phoenix-based firearms trafficking conspiracy," prosecutors said.
Steward admitted to conspiring to illegally obtain AK-47 rifles on behalf of others and making false statements during the process.
Prosecutors said he participated in the delivery of weapons to Mexican drug-traffickers.
Montelongo pleaded guilty to conspiracy, making false statements and smuggling goods from the United States.
